5th Anniversary!

I always talk about movies at the top of my posts now, so...  I watched Spiderman: Brand New Day today, and I would definitely recommend!  Maybe not for tiny kids, but it's pretty appropriate for a PG-13 rating. :]

Hey, guys!  I got busy with a spread of summer jobs so I wasn’t able to keep up my posting schedule, but I will try to go back to posting every other week once school starts up. :)  Even though I’ve been busy, I had to release a post to celebrate our 5th anniversary!  In honor of five years, I got my family to guest star for this post, so each of us will introduce a favorite post from my blog.  ⸜(*>ᗜ<*)⸝

#1 Kirsten: 10 Clean Webtoons for When You Want to Laugh

This is one of my favorite posts even though it’s old, because it’s a post that has proven that I can talk about my niche-est interests, and still find a community that is so kind and excited to share my passion.  When I first released this, I thought it was a personal indulgence that only a few people would find and read, but this is one of the posts that I get the most community interaction on!  Now I get to read Webtoons and know that I’ll get to talk with other people about it.  (˶ˆᗜˆ˵)

#2 Bro: 10 Kid-Friendly Gaming Channels My Bro Recommends

Obviously this post is my favorite, because I cowrote it. :]  This post came out a while ago, so looking through it again was nostalgic.  I don’t watch a lot of these YouTubers any more, but reading the post made me want to again.  Technoblade is the GOAT.

#3 Sis: Kid-Friendly Kpop-Themed Games to Play with Your Friends

I like this post because it’s Kpop Demon Hunters-inspired and Kirsten tells you to try making kimbap.  You should try making kimbap.  My brain power’s gone, do I have to say anything else?

I liked this post because I’ve seen all the movies in it, so I could understand the variety Kirsten recommended, and they aren’t your typical suggestions for family-friendly content, so I felt like it was a fresh look at clean movies.  The movies that Kirsten picked were varied in their genre, age-range, and even the year that they were released.  I know when Kirsten writes posts for Kpop or Webtoons recommendations she tries to recommend a variety, but I can’t fully understand the magnitude of the variety since I don’t know anything about Kpop/Webtoons, whereas for this post, I understood the variety she was recommending.  Plus, it was a list of movies that I would like to rewatch! 

I like this post because I love to read and I helped Kirsten brainstorm the recommendations for this.  Reading it also reminded me of some other kid-friendly classics I love.  Kirsten needs to release a part two to this post–I’m ready to help!  And I’m excited to see if she has any recommendations I haven’t already read!
